1.) Last Day of Summer EP & Clear EP- Summer Walker

And I can’t come to choose what I’m gonna do. And my heart says to cry if ain’t you.

Summer Walker jumped on the scene with her uber popular song “Girls Need Love” which got the attention of Drake who is now on the remix. But she has so many other songs that all get me in my feels. My favorite is “Wasted” off her latest EP, Clear.

In the video below, Summer performs her newest EP live. Though only 4 short songs, her sound is so versatile and smooth. I can listen to every single one of her songs without skipping.

2.) Issues/Hold On- Teyana Taylor

You ain’t always been an angel but heaven’s on our side. I got my demons too. I know just how you feel.

I just discovered this song a few days ago because of the music video. I’m not a big Teyana Taylor fan but I’ve had this song on repeat like crazy. IT’S SOOOO GOOD.

 

3.) Teenage Fever- Drake

Out of body, that’s just how I feel when I’m around you shawty.

That teenage love is very much something different.

4.) Needy- Arianna Grande

Sorry if I I’m up down a lot. Sorry if I think I’m not enough.

While listening to the Thank You, Next album I immediately stopped and replayed this song over and over and was like okay this is my favorite song without even listening to the rest of the album.

 

5.) When I See You- Fantasia

You’re always on my mind. When you come around I get shy.

An oldie but goodie. This wasn’t grammy nominated for best R&B song for no reason.

 

6.) Why Don’t We Fall in Love- Amerie

Everything you do I wanna feel again. Ain’t no use for us to pretend.

This is THE summer love song!
