The Hotspot, created by Deidra Brown, aims to be one of the top destinations for fellow pop culture enthusiasts and entertainment connoisseurs. The concept began as a radio show for an on-campus club called Golden Eagle Radio, while Deidra attended California State University, Los Angeles. Upon graduation, it turned into a blog and YouTube channel. Currently, The Hotspot focuses on trending topics in pop culture, nostalgia and highlighting tv shows/movies/books/podcasts/music that Deidra is currently loving!
